Etymology

Inherited from Byzantine Greek ψαρεύω (psareúō), from ψάρ(ι) n (psár(i), fish) + -εύω (-évo, suffix for verbs).[1] Unrelated to ψαρός (psarós, grey) and to ψαρονέφρι n (psaronéfri, tenderloin).
