From Arabic أَرْزَاق (ʔarzāq), plural of Arabic رِزْق (rizq). Ultimately from Middle Persian 𐭫𐭥𐭰𐭩𐭪 (rōzīg, sustenance, daily bread). Compare Turkish erzak.
