Polish

[edit]

Etymology

[edit]

Corruption of płyta główna. Most probably a result of lossy conversion of Polish text to the ISO/IEC 8859-1 character set (also known as Latin-1), which contains 'ó', but does not contain 'ł', which was then picked up and used deliberately due to fortuitous vulgarity of the corrupted phrase.

Pronunciation

[edit]
  • IPA(key): /ˈpɘ.ta ˈɡuv.na/
  • Syllabification: py‧ta gów‧na

Noun

[edit]
