In the accusative, the form jakiegoś is used for masculine personal and masculine animate nouns, while jakiś is used for masculine inanimate nouns.

According to Słownik frekwencyjny polszczyzny współczesnej (1990), jakiś is one of the most used words in Polish, appearing 65 times in scientific texts, 4 times in news, 71 times in essays, 175 times in fiction, and 185 times in plays, each out of a corpus of 100,000 words, totaling 500 times, making it the 89th most common word in a corpus of 500,000 words.[3]
