      Virions from the cell culture supernatant, virions treated with NP40 and virions treated with NP40, 2-ME and pronase E, were mixed with the beads coupled with anti-ORF3 MAbs. Then the percentage of immunocaptured HEV RNA was determined (Fig 3B ). 3% of virions from the cell culture were captured by the beads and this increased to 20% after treatment with NP40.
