Etymology
[edit]Cognate with Arabic دَرَّ (darra), Biblical Hebrew דְּרוֹר (dəror), Old South Arabian 𐩵𐩧𐩧 (drr, “abundance, harvest”) and Ugaritic 𐎄𐎗𐎗 (drr, “to flow copiously”). Also compare 𒂼𒅈𒄄 (andurārum).
