Usage notes
[edit]- Usually spelled with a hyphen when placed before the noun it modifies.
- Sometimes used to refer to the sort of stimulation or intoxication that results from consuming certain drugs, as in "hepped up on goofballs."
- Often used when the "enthusiasm" is deemed inappropriate, as in "Don't get all hepped up."
