There are several languages called "Mari":
- There are two Uralic lects called "Mari", which are sometimes considered dialects of a single language:

- Western Mari or Hill Mari (code: mrj), also called "Mountain Mari", "Highland Mari", "Forest Mari" or "Kuryk Mari"(?)
