@Word dewd544, Ungoliant MMDCCLXIV: Are you knowledgeable in Romance taxonomy? I'm not, but I can see an obvious improvement: all Eastern Romance languages (Aromanian, Megleno-Romanian, Istro-Romanian, Romanian) should be brought together. --Per utramque cavernam (talk) 21:20, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

A bit; Word Dewd is much more, though. Given that Old French is not placed under Oïl, it seems that this list is based solely on ancestor languages that have a code. It could work for Eastern Romance since Proto-Romanian is attested, if barely, but there is not, as far as I know, a single language that could be considered an ancestor of all Gallo-Italic or Rhaetian languages, for example. Then there’s there issue of languages with controversial classification, like Venetian (Gallo-Italic or Italo-Dalmatian) and Extremaduran (from Old Spanish or Old Leonese). — Ungoliant (falai) 22:55, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
