I've removed two lines for deleted templates; FYI I've changed 'langsubst' so it doesn't subst anymore but uses {{etyl|foo|-}}, also I have a system that converts {{etyl|foo|en}} to just {{etyl|foo}}, which is very minor, though not more minor that other stuff in the vector. I see that change to your langsubst, but think I won't follow suit. Otoh, I copy-pasted your etyl|foo|en → etyl|foo to my script; thanks! Re "I've removed two lines": do you mean you removed them from my script? If so, note that I restored them. (The target still exists, although the 'bad' link's been deleted. Yes you restored the two lines. Also, I did an AWB search for {{msg: and it appears twice, both on user talk pages, so that line is indeed obsolete until someone uses that syntax again. Mglovesfun (talk) 11:02, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
