Possible missing noun senses
[edit]Chambers 1908 has two slightly strange noun senses: (i) "a waiter's answer to a call" (isn't that an interjection?); (ii) "the position of a soldier's weapon after the order 'Make ready!'". Probably not worth inclusion? Equinox ◑ 18:38, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

In law, this set phrase traditionally refers to a prospective buyer of property who can legally and financially consummate the deal. A less common variant is ready, able, and willing --Backinstadiums (talk) 10:31, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
