certainly seem wrong. It would've been much more natural for Czech, Danish, and Polish to've picked up "palankin" from German Palankin (from French, not English) rather than all separately to have borrowed it from English palanquin. — LlywelynII 10:28, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
