It's not related to cremor, but to Ceres and vis, which means. "The force of Ceres". Ceres was the Roman God of cereals (or harvest). Greek name was Demeter.
- cervisia says "from Gaulish". I don't know how reliable that is, but in any case, this is from Latin and whether the Latin comes from Ancient Greek or Gaulish, I don't know. Mglovesfun (talk) 15:27, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
