See Wiktionary:Etymology_scriptorium/2023/April#On_the_"bug"_in_bugman for how the meaning of the term is unclear and people might use it in different ways. this ethnic slur could be real even if it wasn't the original intended meaning. i'll also add this youtube video, though i havent played it, just to show that the term was apparently circulating already in 2019 and we somehow missed it in the last discussion. —Soap— 13:10, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
