Bug

Etymology

The gadget is picking numbered lists in etymology sections, which can never be definitions. Example: *kontija — SURJECTION ^{/ T / C / L /} 09:06, 18 December 2024 (UTC)

@Surjection: So the core issue is that we don't have a class like definition that can identify a definition, so the code uses the very simple selector ol:not(.references), .ja-see, .zh-see which works surprisingly well since editors practically never use <ol> elements outside of definitions. I actually think we should continue this convention purely for the sake of consistency. I've edited the entry you linked to use an unordered list and I think it looks a bit better that way.
