Description
Español: Carruaje Phaeton de origen estadounidense (ca. 1890), de uso particular del Presidente Hipólito Yrigoyen. Por lo general, el bastidor metálico era importado de los Estados Unidos y la parte de madera se confeccionaba en Argentina de manera artesanal. Es un típico coche campestre, de carrocería liviana y grandes ruedas y suspensión robusta, que le otorgaba un buen desempeño en los caminos de entonces. No es un vehículo confortable pensado para largos viajes, ofrece la mínima protección de una capota plegable, pensada principalmente para protegerse del sol. En la parte posterior lleva una caja que servía para guardar algunos objetos de regular tamaño.
