Description
English: Medieval copper alloy buckle frame, narrow kidney-shaped with radiating transverse notches, deep in centre and becoming fine and widely-spaced around sides, filed facetted slightly offset narrowed bar, pin missing. 20 x 40mm. Cf. Margeson (1993), Fig.15, no.147, 15th century.
