Littleport station is on the ex-Great Eastern Rly route from London to Kings Lynn. The route between Cambridge and Kings Lynn is now known as 'The Fen Line' and passenger services are operated by First Capital Connect. The line is electrified on the 25KV AC overhead system and passenger services use electric multiple unit trains of classes 317 and 365.
