Unten rechts wird der Bleikristallbehang von der Sonne angestrahlt, was den typischen Dispersions-Effekt (Regenbogenfarben-Effekt) bei im Prisma-Schliff geschliffenem Bleikristallbehang auslöst. Höhe: 90cm, Durchmesser: 40cm.
English: 19th century French ormolu cut glass girandole. The cut glass on chandeliers and girandoles is cut in the style of a prism. This is why the white sunlight that shines on this girandole is split into the colours of a rainbow (lower right hand side). Height: 90cm, diameter: 40cm. |
