Summary

Description
English: This photo shows granulated white sugar made from sugar beets with unusual large crystals. The manufacturer rejected the product because the crystals were larger than usual. Some of the shown granules are around two millimetres. I made this particular photo with bright direct light from the front, captured using a macro lens. The frontal light reflects inside of the crystals and make them appear white.
