Summary

Description
English: Inclusions of the extremely rare germanium mineral carboirite in a matrix of sphalerite. From analysed material of the BRGM Workings at an altitude of 2000m (Carboire, Ariege, Midi-Pyrénées, France). Germanium minerals are extremely rare in Nature, since only 32 species from more than 5400 known mineral species are Germanium minerals.
