Summary
| Description |
Die ehemalige Wasserburg Bederkesa wurde ab dem 12. Jhd. durch die Ritter Berderkesa erbaut. Zunächst handelte es sich wohl um ein Holzgebäude, später, im 15. Jhd. wurde ein Steinhaus errichtet. Die Burg ist eine typischen Niederungsburg. Heute gehört die gesamte Anlage dem Landkreis Wesermünde, der auch die Burg restaurieren ließ. In der Burg befindet sich ein Kreismuseum für Natur- und Kulturgeschichte. Die Burg liegt nahe der Autobahn A27 Bremerhaven–Cuxhaven im Ort Bederkesa. |
