Français : Le castor peut faire des barrages sur de petits cours d'eau en milieu agricole également (ici en lithuanie), même dans un environnement moyennement boisé. Il peut ainsi contribuer à la régulation de la ressource en eau, dès le haut du bassin versant. Il est toujours possible de controler le niveau de l'eau en posant un système de siphon ou trop plein traversant son barrage.
