Deutsch: Bildfeld eines großen Bodenmosaiks aus einer römischen Villa bei Sentinum (dem heutigen Sassoferrato in den Marken), um 200-250 n. Chr. Der jugendliche Ewigkeitsgott Aion steht im Himmelskreis der Tierkreiszeichen. Zu seinen Füßen die Erdmutter Tellus (die römische Entsprechung der griechischen Gaia) mit vier Kindern, welche die vier Jahreszeiten verkörpern.
English: Central part of a great floor mosaic from a Roman villa in Sentinum (today Sassoferrato in Marche), ca. 200–250 CE. Aion, god of eternity, in a celestial sphere decorated with zodiacal signs, between a green and a dismantled tree (summer and winter). Before him is the mother-earth Tellus (Roman Gaia) with four children, the four seasons personified (?).
Français : Partie centrale d'une grande mosaïque de sol provenant d'une villa romaine de Sentinum (actuelle Sassoferrato dans les Marche), v. 200-250 ap. J.-C. Éon (Aiôn), dieu de l'éternité, est représenté dans une orbe céleste constellée des signes zodiacaux, entre un arbre vert et un arbre dégarni (été et hiver). À ses pieds la terre-mère Tellus (Gaia romaine) avec quatre enfants, les quatre saisons personnifiées (?).
