Usage notes
[edit]- Like 시겨 (-sigyeo), this suffix is used virtually only in Hwanghae province. It is also recorded to be used in some regions bordering Hwanghae Province, most notably Ganghwa Island in the south, though in modern times it is only seldom used among older residents in these areas, and even then it is rarely used outside of conversation among other elderly people.
