- A blackish-brown pill used in traditional Chinese medicine "to remove obstruction in the blood vessels by means of aromatics, to replenish qi, and to strengthen the heart in the treatment of angina pectoris and sensations of suffocation in the chest due to myocardial ischemia, and myocardial infarction".
