Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (khyan̊: "mutual"). Luce gives Old Chinese (OC *kaŋs, *ɡaŋ, *ɡaŋʔ, “two keeping faithfully together”) as a cognate.[1] This appears to be a very obscure meaning within Sinitic.”
