[edit]Inherited from Old Marathi 𑘐𑘻𑘨 (gora), from Apabhramsa गउर (gaüra), from Prakrit गोर (gora) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit गौ॒र (gaurá).[1]
