Etymology

From ڈِھلّ (ḍhill), inherited from Prakrit 𑀠𑀺𑀮𑁆𑀮 (ḍhilla), from Sanskrit ढिल्ल (ḍhilla). Cognate with Urdu ڈِھیلا (ḍhīlā) / Hindi ढीला (ḍhīlā).
