  1. Used to form plurals of nouns, the last vowel of which is a back vowel.
    ئات (at) + ‎ـلار (-lar) → ‎ئاتلار (atlar)
    تام (tam) + ‎ـلار (-lar) → ‎تاملار (tamlar)
  2. When talking about the group of people in the name of the leader.
    .تۇرغانلار ئۆيگە ماڭدىTurghanlar öyge mangdiTurghan (and others with him) went to home.
